Hey, everyone! Just a quick notice to let you all know that I will not be blogging for the next couple of days: not until November, actually. I need to finish my novel. :) NaNoWriMo is so close, and I am also very close to finishing my novel.
So that means...until November 1st or later, don't look for any new blog posts. Unless, of course, I end up finishing my novel. In which case I will make a blog post that will seem like I have permanent caps lock on--most likely it will be jubilantly epic and loud. >_>
Until then!

lol! I know that feeling! But actually, I'm going to work on mine FOR Nanowrimo.
Speaking of which... do you have the "Write or Die" computer app that forces you to write? Well... forces you, if you sit down to it. :) Apparently if you get the desktop version, ($10) you can challenge people to word wars over the internet with live time. Sounds awesome, does it not? I thought of you when I heard the words "Word War". :D I'll definitely being using it for Nano.
Oh, and I should say a more primitive version is available online for free. If you google "Write or Die" you should find it. :D
last post I promise!
But you have to be online to use the online version of this software. The desktop version can be used offline, but its $10.
Now I'm done for sure. :D (lol)
Thanks for the info! :)
Drawing from past experience finishing a novel of my own, I'm so excited that you're that close to finishing it :)
We'll miss you (sniff) until November but hey! do what you gotta do and we can't wait to hear your LOUD, jubilant, EPIC announcement of victory :P Take care.
I found it! Okay...so carrying the conversation from my blog to yours XD I'm actually the fourth non family commenter on your blog (1st: Andrew Peterson; 2nd: Chris; 3rd: Jacob Parker; 4th: SQUEAKS!)
This was my very "proper" comment XD tis interesting to read these things over again:
Jake,
It sounds absolutely amazing! I love the tips you've been giving. Why don't you do a series of tips related to one another...so for example, here are some suggestions:
-- Grammar
-- Characters (the different kinds you can have)
-- Props (e.g. the reason writers should use tornado's, guns, pianos, etc.)
-- Memory (the importance it has for your main character...maybe it doesn't have importance at all)
Don't stop with the tips! I enjoy them, even if I don't comment :P Keep up the good work.
Squeaks.
And of course, I mustn't forget to CONGRATULATE YOU *throws confetti in air* on almost finishing your novel :) It'll be so exciting to hear that you've finished it! And with NaNo so close...*drum roll* I'm certain that you're working hard!
God Bless your writing endeavours,
Signed in bat language,
Squeaks.
@Squeaks
